Nearly finished

Work continued on the roof during December and a delivery was taken of salvaged tiles from a Northern Irish yard specialising in architectural salvage on 11 December. There was an small “incident” when one of the crates of tiles fell off the back of the lorry on delivery. However, there was still enough tiles because of a small contingency surplus. Copper sheeting was used to seal the valleys and the scaffolding removed by mid-December. Guttering and final trims remain to be completed in the New Year.
